FAQ's

How do I access my Eyesitter™ system? You can access the Eyesitter™ system from anywhere in the world using a broadband connection, simply go to www.eyesitter.com, under “Remote Login” enter your account name and press “OK”.  You will then be prompted for your “login Name” and “Password”, it’s that simple.

Can I upgrade my system later? You can always expand your current Eyesitter™ system, upgrade your cameras, add new locations to your account; we will fit your needs.

How much time does Eyesitter™ remotely record? We allocate 2GB of storage per camera. The amount of time or data on hand depends on how active the area is.  Each camera is equipped with a motion sensor, Eyesitter™ records only when the camera detects motion, thus the more active the recorded area the shorter the time period held.  Typically we retain 3-5 days worth of data.

How long can I record locally? The determining factor for local storage is the amount of hard drive space allocated to recording.  Many times we simply install an external hard drive with 250 GB of storage, which is an ample amount of storage.

I am not “tech” savvy, how easy is the system to use?The system is very easy to use. To log in is very similar to your email account: with a username and password. Once into the system you control the camera with your computer’s mouse.
